Hunter Shaw

My parents immigrated from Canada as a career decision right before I was born and instantly fell in love with America and the Pacific Northwest. I was born in Bellingham and grew up in the Ferndale area where I went to school for K-12. I loved growing up in a small, tight-knit community where I felt connected to everyone.

After graduating High School, I decided to attend Gonzaga University. My interest in the industry came from my dad and several family friends who are successful in the insurance and finance industry. I started investing when I was 15 and had always had an interest in the financial markets, so I decided to pursue my bachelor’s degree in finance. I graduated in Winter of 2022 with my BBA. I decided to move back to Whatcom County and interviewed to join the team at Clarity. It was an instant match. Now I am working on the operations and client service side of the business. I am currently studying for my Series 7, Series 66, and Life and Disability Insurance licenses with the goal of becoming a registered advisor in the future. 

In my free time I like to fish, hunt, mountain bike, and ski. Anything outside really! I also like to remain up to date on any market news and continue to learn. I love connecting with people and am very excited to be a part of Clarity and a team of people who care.
