I have had a passion for finance and serving others for as long as I can remember. While growing up in Eastern Washington, I learned the importance of having a financial plan from my first job delivering newspapers. Those early lessons provided a solid foundation that has helped me excel in other jobs, my schooling and serving a two-year church mission.
With a firm understanding that each individual’s financial situation is unique, my goal is to ensure each client and their family has a comprehensive wealth management strategy in place to protect against unexpected life events while laying a foundation for a successful financial future. I enjoy developing personal relationships with clients as I help them create individualized plans to pursue their financial goals.
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree I spent ten years in city government followed by six years as a land development manager. Both careers allowed me to manage complex projects and budgets that helped me develop skills and knowledge needed to transition into the financial industry.
I reside in Maple Valley, WA with my wife Rachel and our three children. I am very much a family man and in my spare time you can find us enjoying the outdoors, travelling or playing sports. I am also committed to being active in my community and enjoy volunteering in a variety of capacities including serving in my local church congregation, helping with activities at a local assisted living facility, and teaching basic finance and budgeting skills to single parents struggling with homelessness.
